ICE-CAP In-service Training
C1 Short-term joint staff training event
All partners will send appropriate and affiliated adult education trainers to this event. As the training will be delivered in English all partners will ensure that those selected to attend have excellent English language skills. While the in-service training could, and will in future, be delivered in a local setting it is clear to partners that they need to take advantage of the opportunity that ERASMUS+ provides to bring a small group of professionals together to share experiences, learn from each other and develop positive working relationships for the future. The result of the ICE-CAP transnational training event will be the establishing of a transnational group of like minded education professionals who will support each other and further develop their working relationships into the future.
The in-service training programme will comprise a total of 60 hours of learning broken down into 3 different phases as follows:Phase 1 - a special 4 hour introductory workshop that will be held in each partner country as a preparation for the transnational training event in Croatia;
Phase 2 - a 3 day, 21 hour training programme supporting adult educators to develop their own comic strips and challenge-based learning resources. This 21 hour face-to-face instruction will be delivered at the transnational training event in Croatia in month 17.
Phase 3 - will comprise 35 hours of self-directed learning supported on-line through the online interactive portal to develop the necessary pedagogic skills and competences to deliver training in dynamic online environments and successfully manage the new learner/tutor relationships that are a key part of successful family learning partnerships. A key part of this element will be the skills demonstration where educators who attend will be required to upload their own challenge-based resources to the online portal as part of a skills demonstration
